Monitoring
University of Nebraska engineers observed a power fault on the B-side power at 11:15AM. Power appears to have restored at 11:45AM. The NNI to Great Plains Communications restored at 11:50AM. Circuits appear to have restored at this time. Network engineers are currently waiting on the RFO from the colocation facility and the carrier.

Investigating
University of Nebraska engineers have observed what appears to be a power failure at a third-party data center in Omaha. At present, BGP sessions to OmahaIX, Meta (Facebook), are down. A single connection to Great Plains Communications is feeding several schools. Engineers are investigating the issue.
